Aftercare Instructions

Important:
Allow the film to cure for at least 72 hours. This ensures the pressure-sensitive adhesive fully bonds and any trapped moisture evaporates completely. Once the curing period is over, follow the care guidelines below.

Cleaning

Remove contaminants such as insect residue, bird droppings, and similar debris as soon as possible. If left unattended, these can cause stains or damage the film due to their acidic nature.

Washing & Rinsing

  • Use the two-bucket washing method along with a lambswool wash mitt for a gentle clean.
  • If using a pressure washer, keep the nozzle at least 3 feet away from the film surface. Avoid directing water at the edges to prevent lifting.
  • Always use a pH-neutral shampoo for safe and effective cleaning.

Cleaning Around Badges

Over time, wax and dust may accumulate along the film edges. To clean:

  • Use a cotton swab dipped in 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
  • Gently wipe away from the edge, not toward it, to avoid lifting the film.

Drying

Dry the film using a soft, absorbent cloth, just as you would the rest of your vehicle.

With regular use, the film’s topcoat may gradually wear. To maintain protection:

  • Apply a ceramic coating as an added protective layer.
  • Reapply a topcoat sealant every 6 months as part of routine maintenance.

Things to Avoid

  • Do not use solvent-based cleaners, degreasers, insect removers, or abrasive products.
  • Polishing is allowed only at low speed with minimal pressure.
  • Always test any product or method on a small, hidden area first before full application.
